## 2026-10-08 — A toolbar of icons, and a third way to size the remote screen `web 0.158.0`
Every action on the remote-desktop toolbar is now an icon with its name on hover: Ctrl+Alt+Del, the
keyboard layout, the picture mode and the button that ends the session, which were words. The
settings that have values show the icon of the value they are set to — a still for JPEG images, a
film for video, a keycap for physical keys — and the hover and the list under it say it in words.
The end button is a red "unplug" and not a power symbol, which would read as switching the machine
off.
The size of the picture is now a menu with three choices: actual size, fit to window, and stretch to
window. Stretch fills the whole window whatever the proportions of the remote screen, which distorts
the picture but leaves no black band. The mouse and the remote cursor stay exactly where they point
in all three.
The "Redraw" button is gone. The one fault it repaired — a picture piece the browser failed to
decode, which then stayed wrong on screen — is now asked for by the viewer itself, as soon as it
happens, when you have control.
Update the web image only. No API, agent or database update is required.
